		<description>Thank you for your article! I just have to say though, that there is no such thing as &quot;Generic&quot; infant formula. I prefer the term &quot;Store Brand&quot;, it just sounds better. Generic is a word that describes &quot;cheap&quot; and infant formula is not cheap whether it&#039;s the name brand or store brand. You are correct, however, in your statements about saving money by purchasing store brands over the national name brands. 
In the USA, the FDA has such strict regulations on infant formula, requiring all infant formulas contain the same nutritional value. It doesn&#039;t matter if it&#039;s a $30 can of formula or a $12 can of formula. Those nutritional facts will read alike. 
I used Parent&#039;s Choice when my girls were babies, and was so glad I could save so much money to buy the other things they needed.. There was no way I could&#039;ve been able to do that while using national name brands.
