Parent’s Choice Baby Formula Review

Before, parents automatically choose branded baby formula for their babies. They would go to the grocery and pick one of the most popular baby formula brands, not bothering to look at the other choices.

Now, parents are more budget conscious because of the world’s economic situation. They try to save money whenever they can, also when buying their baby’s milk by choosing a generic formula brand. One example of a generic formula milk brand is Parent’s Choice baby formula by Wal-Mart.

Generic milk does not necessarily mean low quality. Parent’s Choice baby formula gives the nutrients that branded formulas provide. After all, all manufacturers of baby formula only have one goal in mind. That is to simulate the nutrients that breast milk has.

Parent’s Choice baby formula is fortified with iron. Iron is very important for your baby’s brain development. This generic formula equals the amount of iron that branded milk products provide. It also has ARA and DHA, just like branded baby formulas.

The doctors in the hospital only recommend those branded products because they have a contract with these baby milk companies that require them to do so. But in reality generic milk brands, like Parent’s Choice baby formula, are just as good and nutritious as those more popular brands.

Some parents turn their nose up in the air whenever they pass by these generic milk products for the simple reason that they are not as popular as branded products. They also want to brag to other mothers that their babies are using much more expensive milk.

Parent’s Choice is also cheaper than branded formulas. You can save $1 for every 13 ounce can of Parent’s Choice milk that you buy. And babies drink a lot of milk in a month. So just imagine the amount of savings that you will be earning in one month. It is a big help especially for parents who are trying to make ends meet.

Parent’s Choice might not be as popular as other commercial brands but it has the same nutritional values, it is cheaper, and it also passed FDA standards.

  1. Thank you for your article! I just have to say though, that there is no such thing as “Generic” infant formula. I prefer the term “Store Brand”, it just sounds better. Generic is a word that describes “cheap” and infant formula is not cheap whether it’s the name brand or store brand. You are correct, however, in your statements about saving money by purchasing store brands over the national name brands.
In the USA, the FDA has such strict regulations on infant formula, requiring all infant formulas contain the same nutritional value. It doesn’t matter if it’s a $30 can of formula or a $12 can of formula. Those nutritional facts will read alike.
I used Parent’s Choice when my girls were babies, and was so glad I could save so much money to buy the other things they needed.. There was no way I could’ve been able to do that while using national name brands. They have a savings calculator on their site that can show you just how much money you could save if you switched! http://www.parentschoiceformula.com/baby-formula-savings-calculator.aspx
